2017 4-H Art Showcase
The 4-H Art Showcase will be open to all 4-H members in the Clothing, Knitting, and Crocheting Project as well as any 4-H members, groups or 4-H Clubs who participated in the Performance Arts Festival in April. The 4-H Art Showcase is scheduled for Thursday, July 13 at 7:00 PM. To participate in the 4-H Art Showcase you must register with a registration form. Registration forms are due Wednesday, July 5, before 4:30PM to the UWEX office. Plan to meet in the Badger Building at 6:00 PM to practice for the 4-H Art Showcase. Cloverbud Day Camps
Cloverbud Day Camps are for all youth who were enrolled in Kindergarten-2nd grade in the Fall of 2016. Youth do not need to be 4-H members in order to attend either of the Cloverbud Day Camps. There will be two sessions with two locations for 2017. The cost for camp is $7/youth per session for 4-H members and $10/youth per session for non-4-H members. At each camp, youth will have the opportunity to learn through multiple hands-on activities, crafts, games and also have the opportunity to meet new friends. Each day is different, so you can choose to attend one or both days! Each camp is structured around the theme of Agriculture and will introduce new ideas and experiences surrounding gardening and communications in farming. Questions? When: August 2– 4, 2017
Where: Superior, Wisconsin
Who: All Sauk County 4-H youth who were in grades 6-8 (in fall 2016)
Why: To explore new areas in Wisconsin and meet other 4-H youth from your county!
Cost: $100 registration fee per person
Activities: Activities on the trip may include exploring state parks, rollerblading, going to the Richard Bong Veterans Memorial Museum, teambuilding on the UW-Superior Ropes Course, exploring the Duluth Channel Park, seeing the lift bridge, and so much more!
Our group will be staying at the University of Wisconsin– Superior, where we will also have the chance to tour the campus!
