The Sauk County UW-Extension Office is currently updating the Sauk County Farm Connect Guide: A directory designed to help Sauk County area farmers reach more customers who are interested in buying local goods like meat, vegetables, honey, syrup, flowers and other agricultural products directly from the farmers who grew them.
The Farm Connect Guide also serves Sauk County area agri-tourism businesses. We’d like to help channel tourism dollars to our farm community.
Listing in the Sauk County Farm Connect Guide is free! (Gee, how often do you find an opportunity for free advertising??!!) All you have to do is contact the Sauk County UW-Extension office (355-3250) before March 31st or submit your information online at https://goo.gl/forms/G3K6YXukYx3g5HQu2.
Listing in the Guide is open to any farmer in the Sauk County area who is selling products produced on his or her own farm directly to consumers. Listing is also open to any small business in the area as long as the business is either located on a farm or 50% or more of the products being sold by the business were grown in or around Sauk County. We reserve the right to make the final decision about the inclusion of any listing.
Consumers who are interested in purchasing Sauk County farm-raised products should contact the Sauk County UW-Extension Office at 355-3250 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a copy of the Sauk County Farm Connect Guide when it is published.
